Ashley Nazario, known as Pepper — “Your Local Makeup Fairy,” is a NYC-based makeup artist, beauty educator, and industry professional. Born and raised in the Bronx, her work is inspired by the diversity, creativity, and real beauty she grew up around.

Since beginning her career in 2014, Pepper has worked across artistry, education, sales, and brand leadership — collaborating with major beauty brands, media platforms, and creatives while building Perfected By Pepper, a platform rooted in empowerment, education, and elevated artistry.

In addition to her freelance work, Pepper serves as Key Account Associate Manager for PRO Accounts and Platform Artist at Danessa Myricks Beauty, where she supports professional partners, trade shows, beauty schools, and nationwide education initiatives.
